The Tampa Housing Authority Gears Up For Its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, Which Helps To Raise Money For Inner City Housing Youth.
TAMPA, FLA. {April 5, 2011}—Derrick Brooks, Antonio Tarver, Jay McNair and Jane Castor; are some of the past local/national celebrities who have enthusiastically participated in Tampa Housing Authority’s annual golf tournament, which raises money for at risk youth within its housing communities. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the beautiful Saddlebrook Golf Resort and Spa located at 5700 Saddlebrook Way, Wesley Chapel. Tournament warm-ups begin at 6:30 a.m.
Monies raised from this years’ golf tournament will help fund events, workshops, activities, and field trips that are designed to expose our youth to the various communities and wholesome activities outside of their own back yard. Your support of this event is greatly appreciated and we look forward to you joining us as we continue to plan activities that help improve and positively affect the lives of our public and assisted housing youth.
