Lillian Stringer - The Director of Community Affairs welcomes you to the Tampa Housing Authority’s Community Affairs
Department page. We provide information to all of our publics regarding the Authority’s mission, programs and initiatives
utilizing all mediums necessary. The department also manages the agency’s social media through its Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter
accounts.
Serving as liaison to the Authority’s Board of Commissioners, chief contact for media/public information inquiries, event planning, contest
and award submissions, as well as general public contact for anything regarding the Authority falls within this department.
Ensuring that our Branding is dominant throughout the agency is another area of oversight and responsibility, as it is very
important to ensure uniformity agency wide that includes both internal and external communication efforts.
Keeping our staff, residents, industry organizations and our general public aware of our accomplishments is another area we concern ourselves

Gloria Rayder - Community Affairs Coordinator/Records Management Liaison Officer (RMLO) serves as this Department’s Executive Administrative
Assistant and manages the agency’s records management program in accordance with the regulations set by the Florida
Department of Library Services. The program governs all Tampa Housing Authority department records and ensures efficient and
easy access to public documents. The Records Management program won its first award from the National Association of Housing
and Redevelopment officials in 2014 as an agency initiative worthy of emulation by other Authorities.
Production of the monthly Board of Commissioners packet, transcription of minutes and all other elements of board packet
production is one of Gloria’s chief duties, which includes documentation regarding agency board resolutions also maintained
by this department.
In addition to maintaining the Authority’s intranet calendar for its employees, Gloria also maintains this department’s web
page, which is constantly updated with current information regarding agency awards, press releases, public notices,
newsletters and other newsworthy agency announcements.
