FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER EDUCATION TRAINING

First-Time Homebuyer Education Training consists of a total of eight (8) hours in Homebuyer Education to improve the participant’s knowledge of the home buying process.

  • Topics for the workshops include:
    1. Money Management
    2. Understanding Credit
    3. Shopping for a Home
    4. The Lending Process
    5. Foreclosure Prevention
    6. Home Maintenance and Preservation

*Completion of First-Time Homebuyer registration packet and $40.00 fee ($70.00 for married couples, money orders only) is required prior to enrollment. Click here to download.

HOME MAINTENANCE EDUCATION

Learn how to preserve and protect your investment through the Home Maintenance Education. The goal of the training is to educate participants by adding the ability to be self-sufficient. Classes are offered twice annually consisting of four (4) classes each covering the following topics:

  • Home Safety
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Basics of Electrical
  • Drywall Repair
  • Painting
  • Plumbing and Flooring
  • and much more
